Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 27, 2026
This policy explains how p0lka ("we," "us") handles information in connection with this website and the tools we use to run our shop.
Information we collect
We use Vercel Web Analytics on this site to see aggregate visit counts and traffic sources (for example, which pages are visited and where visitors came from). It does not use cookies and does not identify you individually. Our hosting provider may also automatically log standard technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) for security and performance purposes, consistent with normal web hosting practice.
We do not otherwise collect personal information through this site unless you contact us directly (for example, by email). See our Cookie Settings page for the full list of cookies this site uses (short version: none, beyond one strictly necessary session cookie if you log in).
Third-party services we use
We use a small number of third-party services to run our shop and promote our own product listings. Currently, this includes the Pinterest API:
- We use the Pinterest API to create pins linking to our own product listings, and to read the list of our own Pinterest boards so we can choose where a pin is posted. We do not use it to access, collect, or act on any other Pinterest user's boards, pins, or account data.
- When a pin is created, we store the Pinterest pin ID, board ID, and the image URL used, purely to avoid creating duplicate pins for the same product. This is kept for as long as we continue operating this integration, or until deleted.
- If our Pinterest API access is disconnected, we stop making further calls with that access. Any identifiers described above are retained only to prevent duplicate posts if access is reconnected, and can be deleted on request.
- p0lka uses the Pinterest API. p0lka is an independent, personal project and is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or sponsored by Pinterest.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, resell, or redistribute your data — including any Pinterest content or Pinterest-derived data — to any third party. Data described on this page stays on infrastructure we control.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
